Terms and Conditions for private children's party bookings
Your leader is fully DBS checked with over 20 years experience in classroom teaching.  However you will be required to supply a reasonable number of adults to assist with any children aged 8 and under (ideally 1-to-1).  It is the responsibility of the adults booking the party to establish the allergy information relating to each participant.  Cupcakes will contain wheat and dairy - please ask for information regarding any additional allergens.  Some dietary requirements can be catered for but may incur an additional cost.  Our kitchen regularly handles ALL allergens and therefore we cannot say that any of the food that you will be provided with will be "free from" anything.  Please make sure you have fully read and understood all of the party policies (below) and get in touch with any other questions! Please note that your party is NOT BOOKED until you receive our confirmation of availability and have made your initial payment.  Booking requests will normally be held for 48 hours to allow you time to pay this - please check back regarding availability if payment is being made outside of this time. Cancellations and refunds: Total cancellations must be made a minimum of two weeks prior to the party date or refunds will not be given.  Rescheduling is permitted any time up to 72 hours prior to the event.  Rescheduling within 72 hours of the event will incur a £50 charge on top of the party price. ​ Policies: Your party is delivered by Sadie Bakes, a business registered on the Isle of Man, number 029298B. You understand the risks inherent in activities related to working with food, consuming food and working with tools and craft paraphernalia. You waive, release, and discharge Sadie Bakes, it’s instructors, officers, employees and volunteers against any/all claims, demands, action or causes of action for costs, expenses or damages to personal property or personal injury, which may result from participation in these activities. You will inform Sadie Bakes prior to the party of relevant medical or dietary information but you accept in loco parentis on behalf of all guests attending your party that your/their participation is solely at your own risk and that you assume full responsibility for any resulting injuries and damages. ​ The property has stairs and stepped access that you will warn your party guests about prior to the event and you accept liability for any injury or damage to persons or properties that may arise as a result of using these and our other facilities.  A site visit is advised if you have any concerns over these elements in order for you to ascertain their suitability for you and your guests.  Please contact us here if you wish to view the building beforehand, otherwise we will deem your failure to visit the site as your acceptance of the inherent safety of these things and your liability of any risk associated with them that may lead to injury to persons or property. Photos and videos: You agree to Sadie Bakes right to take or use photographs and videos from the event in any media (including social media and website) unless you otherwise notify an instructor.
Terms and Conditions for ticketed public events and private adult events
Our kitchen regularly handles ALL allergens and therefore we cannot say that any of the food that you will be provided with will be "free from" anything. Please do not book if you have severe allergies or, for other dietary requirments, please get in touch BEFORE BOOKING to discuss tailoring arrangements for you. In the case of common, non-severe intolerances to e.g. gluten, we will usually be able to cater to your requirements at the standard ticket price. However you must let us know a minimum of one week prior to the event so we can plan the menu for the evening around this. NOTE: due to our baking methods we are unable to supply egg-free baked goods under the standard pricing system. ​ Policies: Children's events are delivered by Sadie Bakes, a business registered on the Isle of Man, number 029298B. Adult's cake decorating events are delivered by Sweet Sensations, a business registered on the Isle of Man, number 026435B All other events are delivered by Juliette's, a business registered on the Isle of Man, number 030129B. ​ ​ You understand the risks inherent in activities detailed in the information for these events and private bookings including, but not limited to, risks related to: Working with food Consuming food Working with tools and appliances Using craft tools and paraphernalia Use of stairs, stepped access, furniture and floor coverings as observed in the building* ​You waive, release, and discharge Sadie Bakes/Sweet Sensations/Juliette's (insert name as appropriate), it’s instructors, officers, employees and volunteers against any or all claims, demands, action or causes of action for costs, expenses or damages to personal property or personal injury, which may result from participation in these activities. You will inform an officer of the relevant business prior to the event of relevant medical or dietary information but you accept that your participation (and in the case of private bookings, your guests participation) is solely at your/their own risk and that you assume full responsibility for any resulting injuries and damages. For children's public events: Children aged 8 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult. If you know that your child has behavioural issues or has any additional needs that would impact on their ability to complete any of the activities expected in the event then you will be required to stay and supervise them for the full time, regardless of age. It is your responsibilty to check regarding allergens that are pertinent to your booking. Crafts, cupcake decorating and other activities that may be included in children's events will not be suitable for children aged 3 and under due to small parts and choking hazards - their participation is at your discretion in the full knowledge of this risk.
