Juliette's (also trading as Sadie bakes and sweet sensations) Accessibility Statement

At Juliette's, we are dedicated to making our website, creative workshop space, and all events fully accessible to everyone, regardless of their abilities or disabilities, age, personal orientations, race, religion or beliefs. We strive to create an inclusive and welcoming experience for all by adhering to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and local accessibility standards for our physical spaces and activities.

We are committed to ensuring that both our online presence and physical events are accessible, user-friendly, and enjoyable for everyone. Our goals include:

For our Creative Workshop Space and Events (such as baking workshops, crafting sessions, children's parties, public and private events), we provide:

  • Opportunity for a site visit prior to the event to discuss ways that we can work with you to make accessibility easier for those with mobility issues and impairments.

  • Mobility Support: We provide seating arrangements and activity setups that consider diverse mobility needs.

  • Materials: Large-print instructions are available upon request for crafting or baking workshops.

  • Dietary Accommodations: Where food or refreshment is included in your event, we offer dietary accommodations, such as gluten-free, dairy-free, or allergen-sensitive options if requested in advance (please see our Terms and Conditions for further information.

  • Sensory Considerations: We are happy to offer private bookings where we can create a sensory-friendly environment, including dimming lights, controlling noise levels, and offering quiet spaces for those who need them.  Please Contact Us to arrange site visit and discussion of your personal requirements.

  • Assistive Devices: Upon request, we are happy to use your assistive listening devices, or other accommodations to ensure your full participation in workshops and events.  Please Contact Us if you would like to discuss this further.

  • Children’s Events: We offer accessible games and activities to ensure that children of all ages and abilities can participate.
